.) What is something you learned, saw, or heard recently that you would like to share with our readers? Everything happens for a reason, you are in your current situation because it was meant to be. At the same time we are all in control of our destiny’s, don’t sweat the small stuff – live life to the fullest.
.) What are some of your obsessions? street style, chocolate covered anything, mauve lipsticks, the feel of finely milled cashmere powder, and athleisure wear.
.) What is something you’re looking forward to? More of a realization – the zeitgeist of this decade will leave its mark in history, there are so many horrible things going on, but there’s also a lot of advancements in technology in form of social media reaching audiences all around the world. This is significantly changing the game for fashion, and art. Now more than ever people are creatively expressing themselves, because they have a platform to do so, its really mesmerizing. I look forward to seeing what the next decade has for fashion and technology!
.) Who are your favorite designers or artists? Raf Simons, Maria Grazia Chiuri & Pierpaolo Piccioli (Valentino), Zuhair Murad, Ellie Saab, Jackson Pollock, Francisco Goya, Frida Kahlo, and Andy Warhol.
.) Why do you like to draw? I like to draw because it lets me escape reality, and enter a world that only exists for myself. I can create something, or recreate something in my own vision. No one bothers me, and i’m at peace. There are no limitations when it comes to your own creative mind.
.) What are some of your dreams? Like everyone, I have many dreams in life, but they’re just that – dreams. My main goal in life is to bind my passion and career into one. I was doing apparel production before, and I wasn’t too happy, so my goal/dream is to be able to draw for a living! Hoping for the best, ha!
